The 2016 edition of the Qunite International Airshow will commemorate the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and feature a spectacular airshow that has not been seen in many years at CFB Trenton.
A large selection of World War Two Training aircraft will be on display from the era. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Vintage Wings of Canada, Tiger Boys, Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association and others will be on static display as well as in the air.
Along with Canadian favourites like the Snowbirds, CF-18 Hornet Demonstration and Skyhawks will be many current RCAF aircraft. From the United States Air Force we will see an F-22 Raptor Demonstration as well as a B-52 on static display.
Civilian aerobatics will include the always popular Kent Pietsch and his Jelly Belly Interstate Cadet. Rick Volker and his Harvard Extreme aerobatic act as well as Scott Yoak and his P-51 “Quick Silver”.
