We spend a day with Kevin and Art capturing images of Viking Air’s Turbo Beaver a week before the team departs for Oshkosh.

For 2018, “Olivia” Viking Air’s DHC-2 MK.III Turbo Beaver, has been based with Kevin Elwood at Collingwood airport. On July 14th, we met with Kevin for an A2A shoot that took us from Collingwood to Orillia and back.

Mike D. provided photo-ship duties in his Super Cub. Bernadette flew in the Beaver with Kevin and Art.

From Collingwood we headed towards Parry Sound for the shoot. Passing near Midland we change plans and did our shoot going towards Orillia Lake St. John Seaplane Base.

Mike and Eric landed first at Orillia Lake St. John Airport in order to capture the Beaver’s landing. We were greeted by two other DHC-2 Beavers.

After lunch we depart Orillia in Olivia and head for a cottage near Honey Harbour to shoot some water landings.
