On April 9th,The Yankee Air Museum hosted the Detroit Aviation and Airline Collectable Show, which saw many vendors selling a wide range of aviation collectables. As well, the YAM held their annual “Bomber Buffing” where several hundred people offered to polish the Museum’s B-17 “Yankee Lady” and B-25 “Yankee Warrior”. Specially guided tours were also offered of the Willow Run Bomber Plant that has been saved by the museum and will be the future home of the collection.
