Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association pilot, Edward Soye teams up with Hawker Beechcraft Texan II Demonstration pilot, Michael “Gameshow” Rambo for a Harvard / T-6II Heritage Flight at the 2012 Canadian International Airshow.
Edward Soye is ready to crank at CYYZ’s North Lounge ramp. Back-seater is T-6II crew chief Bill Parker.
Cleared across 23 with one waiting for take-off and one on short final.
On the roll runway 15L
We head south for Lake Ontario and then east for our photo shoot near the Scarborough Bluffs.
By the Bluffs we go into a left-hand orbit for the shoot.
After a few orbits we are vectored north over Markham for our approach back into CYYZ.
In a hold over Markham Airport which is seen under the Harvards wing.
Passing Buttonville Airport.
Under the approach for runway 23 with a Boeing passing overhead.
Once we are cleared to land “Gameshow” takes the lead as the T-6II has a faster approach speed then the Harvards.
Over the numbers on runway 23.
