Waterloo Warbird’s MiG-15 was built as a single seat fighter in 1954. SN 1A10017. In the Polish Air Force it was converted to a two-seat trainer. The airframe as retired from military service in 1992. Sold surplus the airframe was shipped to the United States in 1993 and flew for the first time as a warbird in 1998. In 2009, Richard Cooper’fs Viper North purchased the MiG 15 and it was imported into Canada in 2013. Now registered C-FMVN, it flies with the Waterloo Warbird fleet.
