On the weekend of April 6-7 2019, two CF-18 Hornets from 433 Tactical Fighter Squadron flew sorties out of YXU. Two sorties over Lake Huron were flown each day. Adding to the activity, the Jet Aircraft Museum, Based at London, flew their Red Knight T-33 for the first time in 2019. Sunday afternoon saw three “Special Ops” CH-146 Griffons stop in on a transit flight to the United States.
